Cafe de Concert UK – first event!
6.30pm, 3-7 Delancey Street, NW1 7NL

Café de Concert is a brand new series of events taking place around London, rediscovering the life and soul of classical music. Produced by former BBC Young Pianist of the Year, Cordelia Williams, the events find a uniquely relaxed, intimate and welcoming atmosphere, inspired by the 19th century musical and artistic gathering.

The evenings, held in cafés, bars and restaurants, bring together renowned musicians and leading young artists to play their favourite chamber works and to share musical stories and ideas. There are several breaks during which one can have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, order something to eat and mingle with the artists and other guests. We like to think of Café de Concert as an artistic playground – future plans include interweaving music with painting, poetry, literature and installation.

This evening’s music includes works by Brahms, Bach and Piazzolla and your artists for the night will be violist Mark Braithwaite, cellist Olly Coates, violinist Alexandra Wood and pianist Cordelia Williams. Bring friends – we look forward to seeing you at 6.30pm! Love from CdC.
