Cafe Muse in Nottingham

7.30pm, Theatre Royal Dress Circle Bar, Nottingham, NG1 5ND

Cordelia Williams – one of Britain’s most exciting young pianists – presents this classical recital with a difference. Inspired by the Art Cafés of Vienna and Paris, she created Café Muse in London to make classical music a lot more sociable, performing in bars and cafés and getting rave reviews. Her first Café Muse event in Nottingham was a sell out and a total hit. After that we couldn’t wait to bring her back, and this time she’s joined by violist, Emma Richards, to perform music by Schumann, Brahms and Britten. As before, there will be plenty of chances to chat with the performers in between items, and you can also enjoy delicious sharing platters of tapas which you can pre-order before the show (at a discount) or on the evening.
